Cookie Policy

1. The short version

This website sets no cookies at all, which is why there is no cookie banner. The Vintify app sets only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to tell its own pages that you are. Nothing on either is used for advertising or to track you across other sites.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember things between pages or visits, such as the fact that you are signed in. Similar technologies, such as local storage, are covered by this policy too.

3. On this website

getvintify.com sets no cookies. It uses one item of local storage:

• Your theme choice, light or dark, so the site opens the way you left it. It is stored only in your browser and is never sent to us.

4. In the Vintify app

The app sets strictly necessary cookies only:

• A signed session cookie that keeps you signed in after you sign in with an email link or Discord. It is HTTP-only, so scripts cannot read it, and it expires on its own.
• A sign-in hint that holds only the session’s expiry time, so the app can show whether you are signed in without a round trip. It contains no name, no id and grants nothing.
• Local storage for preferences such as your theme and dashboard layout, which stay in your browser.

5. Third parties

Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout and billing pages to process payments securely and prevent fraud; see Stripe’s cookie policy. Discord sets its own on discord.com when you sign in there. We run no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad-network tags and no cross-site tracking on either getvintify.com or the app.

6. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the app’s session cookie will stop it keeping you signed in; this website works without any cookies at all.
